About Me

My name is Amanda Farmer. I just entered my seventh year of teaching. Two years at Warren Elementary, three at Briarwood Elementary, and this is my second year at Saint Joseph School. I am currently a 4th grade teacher to thirteen amazing students! The small class size is a big change for me and I am loving it!

My husband, David, is a computer system analysis at Bowling Green City Schools. We are blessed with two beautiful girls Kaylee and Adalyn.  Then there is our dog Chloe, who is also a girl. I know, poor dad!I am currently working on my Masters in Education with an Endorsement in Instructional Computer Technology. During my free time, which is very rare, I enjoy reading!

I like to two informational presentations you created. I would love to work in a technology position where I was able to make a difference in students lives. I also enjoy reading for pleasure when I have the time.

It is very nice to meet you. I really like that you and your husband are both in technology positions in the School Systems. I think that would make for similar conversations at the dinner table. Your daughters are beautiful even if your husband is out numbered…LOL. I have a good friend named Rachel Pendleton that teaches at the school you came from Briarwood Elementary.

Hi, Amanda! I know your husband. We work in the same district! I worked at Warren Elementary my first year teaching and still know some teachers tehre, and I think my mom might have known you when she worked at Briarwood. I would be very interested in your job currently at St. Jospeh as I teach computer technology in middle school. Also, what application did you use to create your GIF?

I enjoyed chatting with your mom everyday after school, she is a sweetheart! I will try to find the site I used to create the gif and get back to you!

    Hello Amanda,
I like your site. I like the beautiful family picture also. It must be a good feeling to have a spouse share the same work profession as you. Like your family, mine is literally all females, but me. In fact, I have three daughters. Good luck in your pursuit of technology.
